Thanks to event organizers Lu, Pete, Lillian, and the entire Sportrock staff for their hard work in putting together a fantastic event.

A new era for Sportrock! The comp was by far the best event held by SR since...well...ever...or so said the Earthtreks crew. Great job to all at SR who put on the stellar event. While I was a late comer...I was able to enjoy a delicious amber brew from some tasty micro brewery. I did get to see the super final, and I was very impressed...cough...cough...by the womens winner!! Thanks to all!!

BTW...nice site Micronut!

Agreed, The comp was very well run and turned out better than expected. This was Pete Ward's first directed Comp, and I think he did a great job. I will definatly be at his next comp in Jan, to bad it's at ET. Cheers on the site WiredNut!!

If you didn't get a chance to see the mens/womens Open Winners Trophy, Pete told me it was made by a artist friend of his. The iron sculpture mounted on a piece of granite was outstanding. The nicest trophy I have ever seen. The craftsmanship, time, and effort put into it's design and quality construction are a thing of beauty. Kudos to Pete Ward, his artist friend (sorry I forgot the name), and the comp series. Look forward to going to many more.
